The SPMG-DG TG8005 is a high-performance carbide U-drill insert designed for precision drilling applications. It is made from high-quality tungsten carbide, ensuring excellent wear resistance and long tool life. The DG chip-breaker design facilitates smooth chip evacuation, preventing edge build-up during drilling and enhancing overall drilling efficiency

Substrate material
Tungsten carbide substrate with a hardness of HRA 92.5 or above is used for efficient cutting of difficult-to-cut materials such as stainless steel and alloy steel.
Composite coating technology
The surface is coated with TG8005 nano-composite coating (presumably TiAlN+AlCrN multilayer structure), with a friction coefficient of ≤0.35, high temperature resistance increased to 1,100°C, and tool life extended by 2-3 times.
Anti-chipping design
The cutting edge is strengthened with a 30° negative rake angle, which can withstand intermittent cutting conditions and reduce the chipping rate by more than 40%.
