The SPMG TG1155 is a high-performance carbide turning insert designed for efficient machining of steel and stainless steel materials. It is widely used in CNC turning applications, offering excellent wear resistance and stable cutting performance.
As the core component of the new generation of CNC machining tools, the blade adopts gradient carbide substrate and multi-layer composite coating technology, and forms a wear-resistant layer with a thickness of 3-5μm through physical vapor deposition (PVD) process, which significantly improves the ability to resist crater wear. The tip radius is treated with nano-level polishing, and with the R0.2 micro-blade design, it can achieve a surface roughness of Ra≤0.8μm in difficult-to-process materials such as stainless steel and high-temperature alloys. The cutting edge is strengthened by negative chamfering, which can still maintain the integrity of the edge under intermittent cutting conditions, extending the tool life to 1.5 times that of conventional products]. The blade geometry is optimized based on fluid mechanics simulation, and the rake angle is designed as a variable helix angle groove of 15°-18°, which effectively reduces the cutting resistance by more than 30%. Combined with high-pressure internal cooling channel technology (supporting ≥70Bar coolant pressure), the temperature control of the cutting area is ≤600ºC to avoid the formation of built-up edge]. According to different material properties, CVD-AlO or TiAlN coating solutions can be adapted to achieve stable cutting at a linear speed of 150-250m/min in steel processing].
